Arrival by car:

Take the Turin – Savona highway (A6) to the Fossano exit, then follow signs to Villavaletto, Busca, Dronero into the Valle Maira, towards Acceglio.
After about 20 kilometers, turn right towards Elva (Morinesio, Stroppo Capolougo), then after about 4.5 kilometers, turn right again to Morinesio (Santuario Santa Maria).

Arrival by plane:

For air travelers from Turin:

Take the airport bus to Porta Nuova train station, then a train to Cuneo, and from there a bus towards Acceglio (get off at the Bassura/Stroppo stop).

For air travelers from Nice:

Take the airport bus to Nice train station, then a train to Cuneo, and then proceed as described above.

Arrival by train:

Hiking routes:

In addition to the “Percorsi Occitani”, the “Grande Traversata delle Alpi (GTA) also runs through the Maira Valley.
There are also a large number of local hiking trails that can be combined as desired.
